C.R. Laurence Co., Inc. (CRL- will be exhibiting a wide range of products at the upcoming Build Boston (Booth #929).

Included will be the company's Hydroslide Sliding Shower Door Kit and new Hydroslide Bi-Fold Hinges.

These products drew a lot of attention at this September's GlassBuild," says Brad Murphy, Director of Technical Sales Shower Door Division at CRL. "We feel it's because people immediately recognized the advantages they provide."

"The popularity of our Hydroslide Sliding Shower Door Kit has grown because it is ideal for compact areas where consumers want to achieve the 'all-glass' look," says Murphy. "But now, with our new Bi-Fold Hinges, they gain even more entry space. Instead of a sliding door, two sliding panels of glass can be 'bi-folded' into the shower enclosure, creating a larger opening than a single sliding door allows. The bi-fold configuration utilizes both our Wall Mount and Glass-to-Glass model Hydroslide Hinges, used in conjunction with the Hydroslide Sliding Kit. They are available in the same finishes as the kits: chrome, polished brass, brushed nickel, and oil rubbed bronze."

The Hydroslide Sliding Shower Door Kits were originally created by CRL as easy-to-install solutions for customers who want a cost-effective approach to frameless systems. In an effort to simplify ordering and installation of these kits, CRL provides detailed information regarding the Hydroslide Kits on the company's web site. Glass and metal cutting formulas, complete assembly instructions, and drawings are all available at crlaurence.com.

The Hydroslide Kits can accommodate shower designs with fixed glass panels on either end or both sides at 90 or 180 degrees, and can be used for floor-to-near-ceiling glass panels with a sliding door. They are available in either 60" (1.52 m) or 84" (2.13 m) widths. Installers can cut the width to size, and height is optional as long as the sliding door glass weighs less than 88 pounds (40 kg). A 180 degree wall-to-wall shower only requires CRL's 180 Degree Standard Kit for the installation. A 90 Degree wall-to-glass shower require the 180 Degree Standard Kit plus CRL's 90 Degree Wall-to-Glass Accessory Kit for the installation.

Murphy concludes, "Our entire line of Shower Door Kits is featured in the print versions of our extensive CRL23 Frameless Shower Door and Mirror Hardware Master Catalog and the SD10 Frameless Shower Door Hardware Catalog. The catalogs can also be viewed online at crlaurence.com, where they can be downloaded in pdf format. The catalogs feature the latest in CRL's frameless shower door hinges, pull handles, towel and grab bars, knobs, clamps, headers and U-channels, silicone, and installation tools."
