New float glass manufactory Scheuten and Interpane create a joint-venture. In Osterweddingen (Saxony-Anhalt) arises a new float glass manufactory, based on the lead management of the Dutch Scheuten group.

The glass producer Interpane joins the project with an attendance of 49 percent. The new corporate company called “f | glass GmbH” will start its production with a new float glass tank and a capacity of 700 tons by the end of 2009.



Background: Scheuten is a leading international producer of volume for ideal solution of glass and solar systems. The home office of the company is located in Venlo. The company occupies 1.500 employees, has got an annual revenue of 360 Mio. Euro. and invests constantly in new developments. New glass products emerge from the knowledge of all production lines. The cooperation with leading universities and research facilities leads to effective solutions in glass and solar systems.



The Interpane Glass Industry AG holds one of the greatest European float tank in Seingbouse and regards the cooperation as a capable step to protect base material for the refinement. Float glass with mainly solar protecting glazing, ESG and VSG and insulating glazing are produced in the Interpane group.
