Clearview Glaziers are opening up new opportunities for the aluminium division of its business by fabricating Stellar, the brand-new aluminium system from Epwin Window Systems.

Robin Squibb, Clearview’s Director, said: “Aluminium is a growth part of our business and we see Stellar as the system to take us to the next level.”

Robin first saw Stellar at the FIT Show and he was immediately impressed by what he saw. “It’s a system that’s been designed from scratch, so the aesthetics, slim sightlines, product choice and overall product quality is superb.”

Apart from the system itself, Robin says the fact it’s from Epwin Window Systems was a big plus too. “We’ve been fabricating Optima from Profile 22 for a couple of years so we know from experience the exceptional quality of product and service you can expect.”

Clearview Glaziers is based in Peterborough and works in the domestic, trade and commercial sectors. It has a strong online presence to support its sales and marketing activity and has two websites, www.clearviewglaziers.com, which has a domestic focus and www.clearviewbuyonline.co.uk, which is aimed at the trade and DIY sectors.

As Robin says, Stellar is a system that has been designed from the ground up. It is aimed at the retail and light commercial sectors and has everything those sectors demand. For example, it has the slimmest sightlines on the market – it’s at least 30% slimmer than the main competing systems and has a 12% larger glass area. Plus, it’s the only system on the market to offer a fully flush casement window too.

The system has also been designed to be simple and easy to manufacture and install. For example, there’s a unique patent-pending pre-gasketed system that saves up to 20% on fabrication time. There are also patent-pending knock-in beads that speed up glazing and leave a clean gasket line on the inside.

Already being described as a game-changer for the aluminium sector, Stellar opens up the domestic market for installers with a system specifically designed for UK homes. And Clearview Glaziers is one of the first fabricators to seize this competitive advantage by adding the system to its business.
