In June, Clearview Glaziers were one of the first fabricators to manufacture Stellar, the brand new aluminium window and door system from Epwin Window Systems.

Four months on, Robin Squibb of Clearview Glaziers is delighted with the results and reports: “We have found the Stellar window and door system a breath of fresh air to fabricate. It seems like aluminium windows should have always been this way. No horrible adapters everywhere just clean, neat lines. It really is straightforward to manufacture. We are delighted.”

But it isn’t just the fabrication process where Stellar is delivering for Clearview. Robin said: “We have offered our customers choice between some of the highest branded names in the aluminium game, but they have chosen the Stellar system every time due to its clean, modern aesthetics. This has put us way ahead of the competition and in a crowded market, this is great news for our business and our customers.”

Clearview Glaziers is based in Peterborough and works in the domestic, trade and commercial sectors. It has a strong online presence to support its sales and marketing activity and has two websites, www.clearviewglaziers.com, which has a domestic focus and www.clearviewbuyonline.co.uk, which targets the trade and DIY sectors.

Stellar was designed from scratch to deliver the next generation of aluminium windows and doors with no compromise. It is aimed at the retail and light commercial sectors and, as Robin reports, has everything those sectors demand. For example, it has the slimmest sightlines on the market – it’s at least 30% slimmer than the main competing systems and has a 12% larger glass area. Plus, it’s the only aluminium system on the market to offer a Fully Flush Casement Window, with flush lines inside and out.

As Robin and his team are experiencing, the system was designed to be simple and easy to manufacture and install. For example, it’s a unique patent-pending pre-gasketed system that saves up to 20% on fabrication time and has patent-pending knock-in beads that speed up glazing and leave a clean gasket line on the inside.

Robin concludes: “As a company we are aiming to try and make our aluminium products as large as our PVC-U offer. We feel confident that we will achieve this because of the quality of Stellar and the support of Epwin Window Systems.”
