Bohle Expands Glass Hardware Offering With New Catalogue

Date: 7 September 2012

Manchester-based glass processing products specialist, Bohle Ltd, has launched a new, 530-page, hard backed, glass hardware and fittings catalogue.

Entitled ‘Fittings for Glass’ the new publication contains comprehensive information on the Bohle hardware and fittings range and includes many new products. The catalogue is subdivided into five categories for simple navigation – Bathrooms, Interiors, Furniture, Balustrades and Canopies. At the launch Bohle Sales Promotion Manager, Alic McCabe, explained the reasons for a dedicated catalogue for fittings. “The last comprehensive Bohle main catalogue, launched in 2010, was over 770 pages and we felt that a larger 2012 catalogue would be too unwieldy for customers. By splitting hardware and fittings from the traditional Bohle glass tools and consumables catalogue we have created a product-specific publication that is more manageable and therefore easier to use”. Bohle will launch the traditional ‘Glass & Glaziers’ main catalogue for 2013 at Glasstec in October. Thereafter, the fittings catalogue will be published annually and the main catalogue every other year.
Unlike the Bohle main catalogue, the new fittings catalogue does not contain price information. Alic McCabe explained the reasoning behind this decision, “Bohle hardware and fittings products are fundamentally about aesthetics, quality and performance. Our hardware customers said they wanted to give retail clients and other end-users the opportunity to select products direct from the Bohle catalogue without generating price expectations. Accordingly, the new catalogue features many great installation and product shots but omits the competitive trade prices for which Bohle is well known.” A complementary 2013 price list will be published towards the end of the year and until then customers can easily access information via the Bohle web shop, www.bohle-group.com. Customers can also obtain price information or request a copy of the new catalogue by calling Bohle Customer Services on 0800 616151.
