Arnold Group at China Glass 2012 in Shanghai

Date: 2 March 2012

Repeatedly, the Arnold Group, Weilburg/Germany, attends the China Glass which takes place from April 02 to April 05, 2012 in the New International Expo Centre in Shanghai.

With 842 exhibitors from 23 countries on about 55.000 square metres exhibition space, this international trade fair is deemed to be one of the largest of its kind in Asia and worldwide one of the most influential fair in the field of glass working. On this fair, organized by the Chinese Ceramic Society, CCS, visitors are informed about the latest innovations, trendsetting technologies, processes and equipment.

The Arnold Group is one of the worldwide leading manufacturers of burn-ers, tools, machines and complex turn-key systems in the fields of glass and quartz glass as well as for the fibre-optic industry. With this interna-tional accepted specialist more than six decades of tradition and experi-ence in the thermal and mechanic glass processing are implemented into the large variety of products and solutions. On the doubled exhibition space in comparison to 2011 (Hall: E2, booth: 067), the Arnold Group this year is mainly focused on practice-oriented tools, machines and solutions in the field of quartz glass- and laboratory glass industry as well as for the solar thermal industry.

For example quartz glass tubes are applied in special vacuum coated proc-esses in the semiconductor industry. With increasing wafer dimensions the quartz tube manufacturers are more and more forced to supply tubes with larger diameters and lower material thickness. With the resizing lathes manufactured by the Arnold Group, tubes up to a diameter of 950 mm and lengths up to 7.000 mm can be treated at a repeatable high quality.

For the efficient manufacturing of laboratory and lamp glass, the Arnold Group supplies glass working lathes in different executions. The feeding of the glass working parts to be treated is usually carried out manually, but can optionally be completed by an automatic loading-/unloading system. According to the type of machine, the forming process could be executed fully automatically according to the provided program. During automatic mode the process parameters can be traced, controlled and – if required - changed and thus guarantees constant high quality. The Arnold Group also provides complete solutions for the production of CSP tubes for the application in solar thermal plants or even for the use at solar thermal house installations.

Since approx. 40 years the Arnold Group is represented in the Chinese market as accepted expert of glass working machinery. The quality and the precision of the machines are highly appreciated by many Chinese cus-tomers resulting to long-term relationship to the company.

Booth Arnold Group China Glass, Shanghai New International Expo Center Monday, April 02, 2012 until Thursday, April 05, 2012 Hall: E2, Booth: 067 Several experts will be at your disposal during the fair for discussions and consulting ser-vices.
