Apogee Raises Dividend 4 Percent

Specialty glass maker Apogee Enterprises Inc. on Friday said its board raised the company's regular quarterly cash dividend by 4 percent to 6.25 cents from 6 cents, payable Nov. 10 to shareholders of record Oct. 27.

The company has about 27.3 million outstanding shares.

Apogee Enterprises posted revenue of $535.3 million in fiscal 2003.

Shares of Apogee Enterprises rose 1 cent, or less than 1 percent, to $12.74 on the Nasdaq in midday trading.
