Anadolu Cam to Start Building Glass Factory in Russia in April

Anadolu Cam Sanayii AS, a unit of Turkey's biggest glassmaker, will start building a glass factory in Russia next month.

The Istanbul-based company has acquired 40 hectares of industrial land from local authorities in the Russian city of Novosibirsk to build the plant, Anadolu Cam said in a filing with the Istanbul Stock Exchange late yesterday.

The new plant will have a capacity of 240,000 tons a year, Anadolu Cam, a unit of Turk Sise & Cam Fabrikalari AS, said in the filing.
