Ahlstrom Will Establish Glass Fiber Facility in Darlington, S.C

Ahlstrom will invest approximately EUR 5.2 million in a new glass fiber reinforcement plant in the U.S., to strengthen its position as a leading global developer and manufacturer of specialty reinforcements for technically demanding markets.

The investment will include new machinery and a building located in Darlington, S.C., where Ahlstrom already operates a filtration products plant. Construction begins this summer and is expected to conclude in early 2007.
