AAMA Fall Conference: Sponsorships and Exhibit Space Still Available, Registration Opening July 24

Date: 3 July 2014

Registration will begin July 24 for the upcoming AAMA 2014 Fall Conference, which will be held September 14-17 in Westminster (Denver), CO.

Those attending can look forward to networking options where relationships can be built, sponsorship opportunities to bring in more customers and a special spouse event to help a local school.

Networking

On Sunday, September 14, attendees can participate in a tournament at the Westmoor Golf Course, located about four miles from the Westin Westminster Hotel. There will be a 9:00 a.m. tee time. Alternately, a Colorado Foothill history sightseeing tour will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A group outing to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre will also be available later in the week.

Sponsorships

Member suppliers are reminded to sign up for conference sponsorship now while platinum, gold, silver and bronze sponsor levels are still available. Golf sponsorships are also available benefiting the AAMA Scholarship Program (contributions are tax deductible).

Exhibits

Exhibitor spots for the Supplier Product Display Reception are also available. This display is offered to Category 1 supplier members and gives them the opportunity to exhibit their products and services. This event is a great opportunity for members to visit with a number of potential customers without the added expense of additional trips or time away from the office.

Spouses

On Monday, spouses attending the conference are invited to roll up their sleeves from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. to fill backpacks with school supplies to benefit a Title I elementary school serving underprivileged children in the Westminster area. Volunteers will travel to the school to distribute them as well.

A Title I area school is designated as such for having a poverty level at or above 40 percent. Children attending Title I schools are typically in homes where the household income is under $23,000 per year. AAMA seeks to reach a goal of filling and delivering 500 back packs: A total cost of $11,000, or $22 per back pack.

This is not the first event in which AAMA has partnered with World Vision, a humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities to help them reach their full potential by tackling the root causes of poverty and injustice. AAMA and World Vision have been working together since February 2012.

Please contact Florence Nicolici for information. An announcement will be available later this month kicking off registration for the Fall Conference, including discounted booking information for the Westin Westminster Hotel.
