Corning showcases its 8G glass substrate at FPD Taiwan 2006. The company intends to begin commercial shipments of eighth-generation (8G) glass substrates (2160¡Ñ2460 mm) from its Kakegawa (Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan) plant in the third quarter of 2006.
