The best mold material depends upon what product you are forming. In general terms, for low volume production, a castable form of fused silicate may be the most practical option. You can probably find these materials on the web. To learn about annealing time, you could look for information on annealing on the web, or in a technical library. You will have to carefully control the rate of cooling, or your products will fracture.
