Laminated glass problem

Hello everyone, I'm facing an issue with laminated glass  used in a laser machine door.

The glass consists of two layers ( 4mm+4mm) with a black film in between.

Recently, small transparent dots have appeared, almost as if the film is degrading or dissolving , and the glass looks foggy up close.

Does anyone have any idea about the cause or a solution for this problem?

This is concerning because it could potentially expose workers to laser beams during cutting, posing serious health risks to their eyes .
this happened after little time of machine operating only

Thank you

This looks like interlayer degradation from heat or laser exposure, especially if the glass isn’t rated for laser applications. For safety, the machine should be stopped and the glass replaced with certified laser-protective glazing. In some cases, an additional protective window film or specialized tint designed for industrial or laser environments can help manage heat and light exposure but it must be properly rated for laser safety and approved by the manufacturer.
