For this process a special machine is used, called sand jet marking machine. Using a sandblasting process it permanently place a identifying mark on the glass surface. Generally this marks are to be located in one of the corners of the glazing surface. This machine is produced by Fratelli Pezza. Here is a link to this machine http://www.fratelli-pezza.com/ing/prodotti/marker101.htm

We can supply to portable machines: one marks with sand(or better corundum) until a diameter of 18 mm., the second until a diameter of 80 mm..
They work on vertical glass, but with a suction pump they can work in every positions.
We can supply also a table machine that works orizzontally and a table machine that can work in every position and automatically.

you can use enamel color with silkscreen method. If you want to know the details, please let me know. There are several ways, such as sand blast, HF acid etching and enamel painting.
