Cooling blower capacity for flux-line and throat

I will like to know rule of tumb for estimating blower capacity for furnace flux-line and throat cooling.

The thumb rule is 800cfm per linear feet. The cooling air should strike at a level 75 mm lower than the metal line of the furnace. The angle to hit the block face is at max 45 degrees.
For the throat it is 1000cfm air blasted on to the throat vertically down wards .If that is not possible then the effort should be two blowers at opposed direction at an angle of 30 degrees to the throat block. Pressure 85 to 90 water gauge pressure
Hope that is useful
