Can anybody tell me exactly what Lucite is?? or least where I could find out the information.

The lucite i'm referring to is the powder used to protect glass panes when they are packed.

Lucite a the brand name for polymer beads of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). Typical sizes of the beead being 60 to 90um. It is mixed with adipic acidfrom 0 to 50% concentrations depending on the global area and climatic conditions (temp & humidity).
Other brand names are Lucora, Colacryl, D60, Powder B minus
