Float glass furnaces are used to make flat toughened glass which is widely used in the fields of architecture, decoration, furniture, electronic apparatus, vehicles, ships, aviation, and more. Float glass furnaces consist of three main parts, the melter, refiner and regenerators or checkers.

The crown of an oxygen fuel glass furnace is exposed to the conditions of erosion of high temperature alkali vapor and batch dusts, and load. A better high temperature creep resistance is key for the crown blocks of the Oxy-fuel glass furnaces. Fused cast alumina block has been now used as crown refractories in oxy-fuel furnaces for several years.

I am putting a photo box together that will have a lion inside. The box will have one side of glass. So people can pose next to the glass part of the box and have a picture taken. So the picture will look like the people are right next to the lion when in fact they are protected by the glass partition.

My question to all experts is what type of glass should i use?

I don't want anything that can scratch but it needs to be strong enough to withstand the pressure of a 450 pound lion rubbing against it.

The box will be 6ft by 4 ft.

I am seeking advice on the quality of clear float glass 4,5,6,8,10 and 12mm
The companies are Qingdao Blue Crystal Glass co.Ltd and Zhangzhou Kibing Co.
My company specialise in high end prodacts like painted glass splashbacks, framelss shower screens pool fencing ballustrades etc.. so the quality must be excellent for the Australian market.

How to find the weight of a laminated glass with thickness 15 mm.

Clearly Frameless LTD are now offering there glass curtains system in the UK.Ideally it can be utilised between a newly built extension and the main residence.They also have a frameless glass pool fencing system and are the only manufacturers of a glass pool fencing system in Europe.

Is it true that if the glass is cooked longer (sacrify the optical quality) and reduce quench pressure then glass breakage will go down?

Hello every one,our company focus on furnace repair.But nearly we struggle on creating new repairing methods. usually we do repair by ceramic welding against any glass furnace damage. However it cannot apply to ever furnace. So I am here to find new repair method. Any useful methods will
be very appreciated.

Hi,
I am hoping to order laminated glass (most likely from China) and this will need to be stamped EN14449 and EN356 P1A ? The glass should be 6.8mm thick and meet these European standards. Can you recommend a reliable glass supplier that has passed these tests and can email me certificates?
