I am after information on kite marks on toughened glass one in paticular is BESPO.can anyone tell me the manufacturer and the country it was processed. I need to confirm to a client that this mark is a safety glass mark. they have to convince a local authority.

I work in photovoltaics where we regularly use low iron glass. Part of our process involves the use of a silicone encapsulant upon which we lay a piece of glass for protection of the solar cells. we are having trouble bonding the glass to the silicone and I feel it is because our glass cleaning process is not vigorous enough. I was wondering if anyone out there could let me know how glass is cleaned commercially before the application of things like thin films.

I have heard about the new innovations regarding self-cleaning glass, but for those who already have large glass panes installed, is there a product or coating available on the market that can be placed on normal glass to have a similar effect?
