What do you think about the use of 3 mm tempered glass for shower doors? More and more companies in Italy are leaving the 4 mm glass and use 3,2 mm glass.
The driver's side glass in my 01 mustang squeals terribly going up and down. There is no sand or debris that I can recongize on the seals. What is a good fix for this?

Can anybody tell me exactly what Lucite is?? or least where I could find out the information.
My home is 4 yrs old, with low e glass with metal coating (not film). Several sashes have developed a spotting, metallic-looking discoloration on the interior of the glass. I'm being told it is due to the builders cleaning method of the concrete siding. True? How impervious should the glass seal be to the acid wash? Can it be "fixed", short of changing the windows?
I opened a double glass that had moisture between the glasses due to lack of isolation. I tried to clean the white crystal like marks that was caused due to the water that penetrate between the glasses. I could not clean them completely, when observed with optical magnification 5x it seems that the glass was "burned". What is the explenation of this "burn" -like phenomenon. How can this surface damage be cleaned?

I know that on windshields there are zones that the government states have to be viewable for persons of different heights. Is there such a standard for sidelights? Does anyone know the calculations on how to figure those zones given a seat back reference point?
