Dear all,
Does anyone know what is the post failure behaviour of glass, are there conflicts between this and other requirements of glass, such as durability, thermal insulation, and condensation? Thanks
Dear all,
I am looking for the resin for glass/plastic laminated use, can someone advise me about the source, many thanks!!
We now have a new spray resin which comes in a granite effect for glass - ideal for worktops, partitions and kitchen splashbacks. Please have a look at our website www.creativeresinsdistribution.com
We have been requested by a customer to find out about Las Vegas mirror or glass. It appears as as wall of glass and mirror that from a distance looks as if it is 3d but when you get up to it - it is flat. Has anyone heard of this or does it go by another name?
Is anyone familiar with this technology? I understand that Bingswanger Mirror had a method for creating a scratch resistant surface. But I tested it and found it somewhat wanting. The only way to do this is with the right chemical, and not in a production mode. I was wondering what kind of a market for it is out there if one were to charge a couple bux per square foot. I am expecting expensive mirrors, or table tops would be the way to go.

I know CRL acquired Sommer & Maca but I was also told that they purchased US Horizon. It's a strange time in the industry right now...a lot of glass shops in my area are going out of business and it scares me that some of the leading suppliers are being bought out.
Has anyone notice that the price of laminated safety(PVB)glass has become so expensive. Can anyone shed some light on why this glass price increase.
Any other source out there for these moldings beside FORD? You can buy a molding from Mygrant with the glass(db7920) cheaper than just buying the molding from Ford.
Hi all,
What are the important points and recommended solutions to effectively implement Lean Production in a Glass Processing Plant where there are too much Work in Process, internal rejects and machine breakdowns and other problems?
We have done more things as normally. But I want to get the different opinions, different experiences.
Most of the time it is not so easy to know how the glass defects happen.
Need your help
Thanks
