Xinyi Solar Holdings Limited (“Xinyi Solar” or the “Group”; stock code: 968), the world’s largest ultra-clear photovoltaic (“PV”) raw glass manufacturer, has announced that its fifth PV raw glass production line with a daily melting capacity of 900 tonnes in Wuhu, Anhui Province has commenced trial-run on 31 October 2014.     According to the Group’s expansion plan, Xinyi Solar has accelerated the construction of two 900-tonne PV raw glass production lines at its Wuhu production complex in Anhui Province in 2014.

The Group has previously commenced commercial production of its fourth production line in the third quarter.
