As the climate control systems integrator, Visteon is responsible for optimizing the performance of the overall climate control system. Visteon is responsible for the overall climate system including the testing and development necessary to achieve maximum performance.
Visteon established a joint venture with Lextron to construct a Regional Assembly Plant in Canton, Mississippi to support this new business. The Lextron-Visteon assembly facility is located within 100 yards of the Nissan trim plant, and through In-Line Vehicle Sequencing (ILVS), the facility will work hand-in-hand with Nissan. ILVS allows for just-in-time production with the ability to build the cockpit modules on demand in about 90 minutes. This process demonstrates Visteon's commitment to customer needs, reducing inventory, increasing flexibility and saving time and money.
