The VISIGLAS ARGOS system performs a high speed non contact detection of cracks in perfume, nail polish bottles necks and other round or non round bottles. ·The VISIGLAS ASTRA system detects cosmetic flaws in the sidewalls of perfume, nail polish bottles, drinking glasses. ·The VISIGLAS PHARMA inspection system performs different types of controls for pharmaceutical vials, syringes, ampoules or carpules : dimensional control, cosmetic inspection, cracks detection and glass particles detection.·The VISIGLAS PHARMA system has been certified for Japan quality and camera quality inspection. ·The VISIGLAS BLIST-R system is designed for packs and blisters verification.This system is also suitable for pharmaceutical, food or non-food applications.

VISIGLAS S.A., the leader for “on line” inspection systems has recently launched a new product : the VISIGLAS ASTRA LIGHT System This system allows to make a cosmetic sidewall inspection and a dimensional control for perfume and nail polish bottles. It is a contact less inspection system, without any manipulation of the articles and at a high production rate. The system detects bird swings, blisters, stones, black points, folds, stain, cracks in the body, washboards, orange peels, tears, bubbles,… It is suitable for white and coloured glasses and optionally for black glasses. Its Set-up time is around 30 min. The VISIGLAS ASTRA LIGHT uses 2 or 3 cameras taking pictures in different angles of view defined by the glass manufacturer.

This new VISIGLAS ASTRA LIGHT Inspection System meets the customer’s satisfaction by providing an efficient detection of flaws for a competitive price. A recent case study demonstrates that using this systems the glass manufacturers will increase their productivity, will prevent from batches’ refusal. This report asserts that the return on investment of this machine is shorter than 6 months (confirmed by World wide glass manufacturers).
