VISIGLAS S.A., the leader for “on line” inspection systems has recently launched a new product : the VISIGLAS ASTRA LIGHT System This system allows to make a cosmetic sidewall inspection and a dimensional control for perfume and nail polish bottles. It is a contact less inspection system, without any manipulation of the articles and at a high production rate. The system detects bird swings, blisters, stones, black points, folds, stain, cracks in the body, washboards, orange peels, tears, bubbles,… It is suitable for white and coloured glasses and optionally for black glasses. Its Set-up time is around 30 min. The VISIGLAS ASTRA LIGHT uses 2 or 3 cameras taking pictures in different angles of view defined by the glass manufacturer.

This new VISIGLAS ASTRA LIGHT Inspection System meets the customer’s satisfaction by providing an efficient detection of flaws for a competitive price. A recent case study demonstrates that using this systems the glass manufacturers will increase their productivity, will prevent from batches’ refusal.
