According to a newly published market research made by Freedonia Group Inc, demand and production of flat glass in the United States for the next four years will keep increasing, as a result of improvements in the architectural and automotive industries.

The U.S. flat glass market remained in a  recession from 2007 to 2012.Nowadays, renewed growth in demand will lead to increased production and shipments of flat glass products. By the year of 2017, demand for flat glass in the United States is expected to be 7.4 billion square feet, at the compound average growth rate of 5.1 percent. The production of flat glass is forecast to be nearly 7.9 billion square feet in 2017, increasing 4.5 percent annually.

The flat glass market recovery will bring along the development of relating industries correspondingly. So that demand for flat tempered glass, glass machine and tempering machine (glass tempering furnace for example), will enjoy a promising future.
