With SCHOTT Flat Glass Russia, SCHOTT has now established its first manufacturing site in Russia. As a flat glass processing company based in Bor, near Nizhny Novgorod, the joint venture together with agc Flat Glass Europe will concentrate on the national and international household appliance industry. 70 employees manufacture refrigerator shelves and refined flat glass products for ovens on 5,000 square meters of floor space.

In the future, production of seven million units is planned. The Russian household appliance market alone is valued at more than 30 million euros.
