Rohm and Haas is implementing 8 to 9 percent across-the-board price increases in the Asia-Pacific Region for its line of emulsions and additives used by the paint and coatings industry.

The company said the increases are necessary due to recent increases in key raw material costs in the region, particularly for methyl methacrylate monomer. These new prices will take effect immediately.
