Quanex Welcomes New Leadership for Window and Door Systems

Quanex Building Products announced the hiring of Tracy Forrester as director of quality and Kim Alexander as vice president of operations for Window & Door Systems.

Both Forrester and Alexander will be located at the Richmond, Ky., location.  

Forrester has more than 20 years of experience driving sustainable growth in quality and operations, resulting in significant improvements in performance and customer satisfaction. Forrester will be focused on overseeing quality and cost reductions within the Window & Door Systems division.



Forrester has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Tri-State University and most recently served as director of quality for Utilimaster Corporation.



Alexander has more than 30 years of experience in operational manufacturing roles. Alexander will be focused on implementing key business practices to improve operational efficiency, developing performance metrics and leading strategic initiatives within the Window & Door Systems division. In previous roles, Alexander has been instrumental in improving safety culture and driving a highly engaged workforce.



Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, and most recently served as vice president of operations for Danchem.



Both Alexander and Forrester’s positions are part of Quanex’s commitment to improving product quality, increasing operational efficiency, decreasing lead time and to continue providing innovation in extrusion technology and processes.
