The profit of "Valmieras stikla skiedra" in the last year reached LVL 535,250

According to the announcement, published at the Riga Stock Exchange, the joint-stock company "Valmieras stikla skiedra" (Valmiera Fiberglass, VSS) earned LVL 535,250 in the last year, informs LETA.

VSS concluded 2007 with LVL 64,353 in profit.In 2008 the company's turnover reached LVL 37.8 million, slightly up from LVL 37.2 million a year earlier.Last year, with the purpose to boost its production capacity, VSS made investments worth a total of LVL 5.23 million, the investments were made in production plants, machinery and technological equipment.Fiberglass, fiberglass threads and roving were the principal types of production sold by VSS last year.VSS produces fiberglass and fiberglass materials, and sells its products in Europe, United States, Canada, Australia, Russia, Ukraine and Baltic States – 29 countries altogether. 73% of VSS products are sold within the European Union; the bulk of it, 95%, are exported and sold outside Latvia. According to the announcement, published at the Riga Stock Exchange, the joint-stock company "Valmieras stikla skiedra" (Valmiera Fiberglass, VSS) earned LVL 535,250 in the last year, informs LETA.
