Global preview of the new vertical machine from Intermac at GlasstecWith its leadership already well-established in the technological sector for NC work centers, Intermac expands its product range with a new vertical machine, to be unveiled at Glasstec.

The Genius Comby J-A46 laminated glass cutting machineThe Vertmax is designed to appeal to those companies in need of a flexible, productive, limited-footprint machine capable of easily processing both small and large-sized pieces. In addition to this newsmaker, the Genius Comby J-A46 will also be on view in the company’s 700 sq m stand. This laminated glass cutting line offers performance and quality while targeting the needs of a medium-high market segment. An added advantage is a 20% reduction in footprint (compared to other products already available on the market), thanks to the patented vertical storage device.

The  Primus 322 waterjet

Count on demos of the Primus 322, the waterjet cutting machine with a 3210x2200 mm work surface, equipped with 2 5-axis heads (and the absolutely unique Intermac patented infinite rotating C axis), that allow for mitered cuts, mitered corners and, if needed, the machine can process two identical pieces at the same time to accommodate high output needs. It’s worth noting that, in cases where edge finishing is not required, waterjet technology makes it possible to achieve cut quality suitable for feeding to the tempering furnace without further edge processing.

Busetti-F-Series

Representing its range of work centers, the Master 35 -- maximum expression of state of the art technology will be on display at the Intermac stand. With the hi-tech 5 axis head, it’s a machine that is already in use by hundreds of glass professionals around the world, thanks to its reliability, accuracy and quality finishes. “Although we’re in a period of rapid change, where the focal points of the market are no longer what they were five years ago, Glasstec still maintains its broad international appeal, attracting professionals from all the corners of the globe. It is the perfect showcase in which to present one’s latest innovations and stimulate market interest”, according to Franco Angelotti, general sales manager for Intermac, as he confirms the company’s decision to present its new product at the German trade fair. “Glasstec is still the place to start if you want to launch a new product on the red carpet”.
