New plant in Taraz is to afford 2000 vacancies

Glass containers plant construction will give 2000 new workplaces with project capacity of 900 tones of transparent and brown glass per 24 hours.

Jambyl oblast akimat and “Tastai –1” company signed a Protocol of purposes on glass industry development in Jambyl oblast. “Tastai-1” has bought the territory of the former experimental-mechanical plant that was adjudged bankrupt more than seven years ago.

3 glassmaking furnaces with capacity of 300 tones per 24 hours each will be put into service in 2007-2010. The company envisages 175 million USD for these purposes.
