New corporate identity for McMullen Facades

Date: 5 March 2014

After acquiring leading specialist glass contractor, McMullen Facades in December 2012, the integration of the business into the Lakesmere Group has been further consolidated with the launch of a new corporate identity for McMullen in line with the Lakesmere brand, which has been created to better reflect the continuity of service clients will receive across the Lakesmere Group.  As the only UK based contractor to provide the complete range of building envelope services, now with the inclusion of specialist glass facades, the Lakesmere Group's enhanced portfolio has opened up new opportunities for both companies, with a number of joint projects underway including NEC Resorts World, the National Graphene Institute and Canary Wharf Crossrail station.

The combined expertise of Lakesmere and McMullen is meeting the demand of London's thriving hi-rise, mixed-use and residential market, where the company has secured a number of recent contracts including major developments in Elephant and Castle and Kings Cross.

Mo Morgan, Lakesmere Group’s Marketing & Communication Manager commented; “McMullen is an important part of the Lakesmere family and the investment in a new aligned corporate identity both reflects this and supports the ongoing integration between the two companies. Together, McMullen and Lakesmere are uniquely placed to offer clients extensive combined expertise across the complete external building envelope and we look forward to building on this already successful partnership in the years to come.”
