Duesseldorf, May 6, 2010 – On May 1, 2010, Jens Kuerten (41) took over the function of Director Corporate Communication & Marketing with Gerresheimer AG.

His predecessor Burkhard Lingenberg (64) is retiring after thirty-six years with the company. Mr. Kuerten reports to the Gerresheimer CEO Dr. Axel Herberg.
 
Jens Kuerten has acted as Deputy Head of Corporate Communication & Marketing with Gerresheimer since September 1, 2009. The economics graduate previously occupied leading communication positions with Vodafone Germany, Ericsson Germany and the German Federation of Employer Assocations (BDA). He is in addition the regional spokesman for the Federal Association of German Press Spokespersons in the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
