Hollow glass manufacturers from Iran, Saudi Arabia and other countries of the lucrative MENA region are all set for the forthcoming Glassman Middle East show.

The free to attend exhibition and conference will be held in Abu Dhabi, UAE on May 10th and 11th May and will bring together suppliers and manufacturers from across the industry’s entire supply chain.

Abu Dhabi offers exhibitors access to the lucrative MENA region, situated within easy reach of the growing and dynamic markets of Saudi Arabia, Iran, Oman, India, Africa, and of course the UAE itself.

Companies that have booked stands so far include Pneumofore, F.I.C., Horn, Ilis and Reckmann. Several glass manufacturers and supplier companies have already expressed an interest in speaking at the conference, where they will discuss the latest opportunities and challenges facing the hollow glassmaking industry. The Middle East is a hub of glassmaking activity, and is conveniently located to benefit from lower energy costs. In addition, changing legislation means it is more convenient for countries such as Iran to do trade with countries in the West. This year, the Glassman event will run alongside AluSolutions, an international exhibition and conference addressing the challenges and opportunities of sustainable aluminium use. This will benefit both exhibitors and visitors that have a crossover between both the glass and aluminium industries.
