At the present moment, the capacity is measured empirically, with no precision nor standardization of the product. A precise measuring of the volume is essential to obtain a final product that drastically reduces the waste of the content without running the risk of not meeting the required standards. Any error in the volume of the mold determines a wrong quantity of liquid in the bottles, compromising the whole productive process.
Thanks to our innovative system, it is now possible to have certified measurements that allow higher quality products: a laser sensor scans the hollow profile of the mold shells without physical contact, in order to create a 3D math shape with our software, from which the mod volume can be calculated with a precision of 1 cc/liter.
Moreover, the resulting data set, consisting of both the numeric data and the math shape, is directly uploaded on the company archive, making the 3D images available in standard formats to serve the variety of company needs.
This innovative system allows to have a 100% validated process and to obtain productive qualities impossible to reach up to now.

Botticelli is a new machine to certify the nominal volume of a bottle mold with a measurement precision of 1 cc on 1000 cc. Starting from a laser contactless measurement of the surface of the two half-mold hollows and the bottom plate, it generates the value of the volume calculated and, as additional output, a 3D image of the actual external surface of the measured bottle.
