Guardian Building Products Announces From Alliance With Lapolla Industries, Inc

Guardian Building Products Distribution, a global supplier of fiberglass, and other building products, signed an agreement with Lapolla, a Houston-based manufacturer of spray polyurethane foam.Gary Romes, Guardian VP of Business Development, stated, “We have always looked at Guardian as an insulation supplier, not only as a fiberglass company. Spray foam insulation has now become a more important component in the industry in both the residential and commercial insulation markets. We chose Lapolla as our partner due to their superior product performance and well-established credentials and approvals, which allow Guardian immediate market access to the North American markets as well as those overseas.”

Guardian is now prepared to supply the GuardFoam product lines to the insulation market throughout the United States by way of its existing distribution channels and will expand the sales and marketing of GuardFoam into Canada in the near term. Guardian’s spray foam products consist of GuardFoam 55, a closed cell and open cell spray insulation. Both systems meet Class I credentials and will maintain the key credentials required for market acceptance.
