Guardian to build $112m glass factory in Krasnodar region

USA-based glass manufacturer Guardian has announced $112m plans to build a plant to produce float glass in Krasnodar region.





The plant is reportedly to be built on a 30-hectare site in the region’s town of Krasny Sulin.



The plant’s projected annual capacity is 700,00o tons of glass.



Construction is scheduled to begin in late 2009 – early 2010 and be finished by 2012.
