Guardian Automotive Products Expands Distribution Capabilities, Opens New Warehouse Center in Denver, Colorado

Date: 20 October 2011

For Immediate Release – October 11, 2011 – Sterling Heights, Mich. – Guardian Automotive Products today announced the opening of its newest distribution / warehouse center, located at:11585 East 53 Ave., Unit F, Denver CO 80239phone: (303) 371-0080 fax: (303) 371-9377 Guardian Automotive Products, one of America’s leading manufacturers of glass for automotive applications, operates 11 distribution warehouses across the United States, including its newest one in Denver, Colo.

All 11 branches provide day and night local and nationwide delivery service for high-quality automotive, truck, bus and RV glass.

The decision to expand into Colorado was influenced by the region’s high population growth, customer requests and the fact that the area has a high glass breakage rate. In addition, the new warehouse will allow Guardian Automotive to redistribute RV glass cost-effectively throughout the central United States from one strategic location.

“This new facility allows us to expand our distribution capabilities in underserved parts of the nation. We look forward to servicing America’s Southwest and Central regions and ensuring a quick response to our customers’ needs,” said Scott Billings, Director of Distribution Operations. “Our distribution branches also carry a full-line of glass installation tools, accessories and sundry items for autos and other vehicles, including mirrors, moldings, urethane and installation supplies.”

Guardian Automotive Products was able to start up the new location quickly due in part to the recent acquisition of assets of Frontier Distributors of Denver and will continue to service Frontier’s customer base.

In August, Guardian Automotive Products opened a warehouse center in Tucson, Arizona. The company also operates distribution centers in Beckley, West Virginia; Ellenwood, Georgia; Findlay, Ohio; Lanham, Maryland; Phoenix, Arizona; Plymouth, Michigan; Portland, Oregon; Tampa, Florida; and Wichita, Kansas.

A subsidiary of Guardian Industries, Guardian Automotive manufactures a variety of automotive glass products and provides solutions to the major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and automotive aftermarket.
