Glassrobots, an experienced Finnish supplier of safety glass technology will feature its tempering, bending and laminating technology innovations for automotive and architectural glass applications at glasstec 2006.

Glassrobots’ flat tempering machine RoboTemp„· is a success story; by the end of this year, a dozen of RoboTemp™ tempering machines will be operating worldwide. This proven, interesting design combines the advantages of true convection furnaces and radiant furnaces. The advanced design offers important new benefits to glass processors aiming to boost productivity and to achieve the highest possible quality of production, especially with Low-E coated glasses. The market request will be more and more for low emissivity glasses due to the need of striving for energy efficiency.

In addition, Glassrobots is proud to introduce the TFA3evolution„§ technology designed for versatile production, both long and short OEM and ARG production runs. Difficult shapes of modern car windscreens with sags up to 37 mm can be successfully bent in the TFA3evolution™ furnace. The good quality and dimensional accuracy of end products with high capacity are based, among other innovative features, on an enhanced bending program with FuzzyBend„§ control. Also a lateral exit system with automatic unloading has been developed for saving time in loading. This can be combined with an automatic on-line cross curvature measuring with an on-line feedback system to controls. Thanks to intense R&D in bending technology, Glassrobots has become No. 1 in technology and the major supplier for OEM-windscreen manufacturers worldwide.

Other products: Flat laminating lines, architectural bending furnaces, bus windscreen furnaces, vacuum de-airing equipment, autoclaves.
