High-end solutions on show Glassrobots, an experienced Finnish supplier of safety glass technology will feature its tempering, bending and laminating technology innovations for architectural and automotive glass applications at the glasstec 2008 exhibition.

Glassrobots offers a full convection tempering furnace to the market. The growing use of coated glass, especially low-E glass, combined with the trend to produce extremely flat surfaces for the growing solar glass market, set glass processing companies a challenge. Glassrobots answer is RoboTemp™.

RoboTemp™ is recognized as the furnace that produces the best possible quality you can achieve – especially for soft coated low-E glass. It has the fastest heating time, utmost important for the PV-panel market, and the highest capacity. With low-E glass, it achieves 29 seconds/mm of thickness. The system tempers clear low-iron glass for cover panels and active (coated) glass for PV-panels. Glassrobots has delivered the largest full convection flat tempering furnace in the world, handling maximum glass size of 3.2 m x 8 m. Glassrobots is continuing to look into the development of even larger furnaces. In fact furnaces are ready to take 3.3 m already. To date, Glassrobots has sold 25 RoboTemp™ machines. Glassrobots is convinced that quality has become an increasingly important competition factor for the glass market. High speed accuracy and even distribution of heating – especially convection heating – creates savings in operation and quality product.

High quality tempered glass is also easy to laminate. Glassrobots new generation high convection Flat Laminating Line FLL is an innovative solution for laminating e.g. coated tempered glass and special glass in particular.

Glassrobots new high capacity tunnel furnace TFA 4C™ for OEM car windscreens completes the range of Glassrobots windscreen bending technology.

Other products: Windscreen bending technology TFA3evolutionÔ, bus windscreen bending technology, vacuum de-airing equipment, architectural bending furnaces, autoclaves.
