For many years the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) has supported The Glass Performance Days (GPD) in Finland.

This year the GGF has already committed to presenting technical papers and will be attending the unique bi-annual conference in Tampere, Finland in June.    The GGF in conjunction with GPD urges all companies interested in presenting papers to the 2015 Conference to submit as soon as possible. The second and final deadline for submitting abstracts is January 31, 2015.

For this 15th conference GDP will take pride in bringing some special new features to a reshaped Conference format in response to past participant feedback and organizer experiences.

This year GDP will streamline the program to ensure that valuable views are well heard and registered. For this purpose GDP bring interactivity between participants to a new level with instant polling of opinions.  GDP will also further boost the networking services by offering one-on-one meetings that can be booked before the start of the Conference. With the key top specialists in attendance the GPD stands out as the only world-class forum of its kind where opinions can be readily offered and obtained.  The mood is set for bringing professional issues to the point and for maximizing meeting efficiency.

On issuing this Welcoming Message and Call for Papers, GDP remind participants of the old saying “less is more” with the Conference offering the opportunity to voice bold, to-the-point opinions and crystal-clear messages that can be picked up by our interactive communications and networking systems. GDP has a proven track record of securing solid feedback from glass industry policy makers.  In staging the 15th Conference it is also clear that GDP represents unique accumulated know-how of how the industry has developed over decades and is still developing.

At GDP, Tampere Finland, the Glass industry will get together to witness the industry’s development, power, innovation and design. To see the proposed topics and to find out how to submit abstracts, please follow this link: http://gpd.fi/en/Conferences/GPD-Finland1/Call-for-papers/
