GANA technical director to present at GPD

Urmilla Sowell, technical director, Glass Association of North America, Topeka, Kan., will present at Glass Performance Days in Tampere, Finland, June 16-20.

This will be Sowell’s first presentation at the bi-annual event.

“I am very excited to have the opportunity to go to Glass Performance Days to learn about the new technologies and efficiencies in the glass and glazing industry,” Sowell said in the release. “This event always has a tremendous variety of presentations and exhibits that offer insight to the new processes and new products entering the marketplace.”

Sowell will present "Maneuvering the Glass and Glazing Industry through the Energy Efficiency and Clean Energy Maze: Resources, Standards, Codes and Associations." The presentation will cover the many global resources that are in the glass and glazing industry, said Sowell.
