The Business Unit Precious Colours of the precious metal and chemical company Heraeus will present this new precious metal preparation for the first time at the Glasstec Trade Fair in Düsseldorf from 21 – 24 October 2014.

Heraeus Precious Colours proves with this product its innovative potential and presents a revolutionary world novelty in the field of precious metal decorations.

Firing Temperature: 200 – 250 °C!

Very low firing temperature

The low firing temperature allows for the first time the combination of a precious metal preparation with organic colours, which are also distributed by Heraeus Precious Colours.

As the Heraeus Low Temperature Gold™ is a water based preparation and not based on organic solvents, no environmentally hazardous emissions are released during its application. Moreover, the low firing temperatures bring about immense savings in energy and much shorter flow times through the kilns. “The Low Temperature Gold is an environment and resource saving preparation with great potential for the glass industry“, explains Hubertus Gölitzer, Senior Vice President of Heraeus Precious Colours. “We are confident that in the medium term Heraeus will bring about whole new options for the entire decorating industry with the Low Temperature Gold”.
