To feature the OmniLab® Automated Sampling System along with an array of quality control equipment at Glasstec 2010

Date: 26 July 2010

Agr International, Inc. will be exhibiting at Glasstec 2010, Hall 12, Stand C17. An array of Agr high-precision laboratory and sampling devices designed specifically for glass container quality management and testing will be displayed.

Featured products at this year’s show will be:

1. Agr’s high-precision thickness gauging system which is designed to work in conjunction with the Dimensional Sampling Gauge. This new device incorporates the latest digital signal processing technology for fast and accurate measurement of round and non-round containers. The thickness gauging system is offered as a measurement station within the Agr DSG, or as a stand-alone device.

2. The OmniLab®, a complete automated laboratory concept that incorporates two of Agr’s powerful sampling machines, the Dimensional Sampling Gauge and the Sampling Pressure Tester, to perform consistent, reliable dimensional measurements and internal pressure strength testing in one location, with hands-free operation. As part of this system, the Dimensional Sampling Gauge offers automated, repeatable and comprehensive measurement of critical bottle attributes including finish and body diameter, weight, push up, ID and the latest addition, multipoint thickness measurement. The Sampling Pressure Tester performs internal pressure measurements and provides consistent, reliable testing results that are documented, cavity correlated and presented together with measurements from the Dimensional Sampling Gauge. Both systems work unattended, performing critical tests and measurements, while offering a cost-effective alternative to the tedious hand measurement of bottles.

In addition to the above products, Agr will also demonstrate several laboratory testing devices for critical measurements such as volume, coating and thickness, and will feature a display by Agr Container Labs, the European testing division of American Glass Research, that provides an array of educational and testing services.

Agr International, Inc. offers a complete line of equipment and services to the glass container industry. As an industry leader for over 70 years, Agr is committed to provide the glass container industry with the most technologically advanced products available for quality control and productivity improvement.
