National Windscreens is pleased to announce that two new companies have been welcomed to partner organisation Automotive Glass Europe (AGE), extending European coverage for National Windscreens’ customers to include Italy and Slovakia.

As a founding member of the AGE, National Windscreens believes the opportunities provided by the organisation offer substantial benefits to all of its customers.Commercial Director, Pete Marsden, says, “We work with a number of leading insurers and fleet operators, as well as private motorists, who really value the peace of mind that comes from knowing we offer coverage throughout Europe, as well as the UK. “We’re proud to operate 108 fitting centres of our own and membership of AGE means our customers can access an additional 1,100 branches located in 15 countries throughout Europe.”

Leading Slovakian windscreen specialist, Autosklo Hornet, joined the professional alliance in December, swiftly followed by the announcement that the largest automotive glazing firm in Italy, VetroCar, had also become a partner following significant changes in the Italian market. All members of Automotive Glass Europe are leading companies in their local market and are carefully selected for the quality of workmanship and services they offer, as well as their geographical coverage capabilities.

Pete continues, “From private motorists enjoying a European break, to fleet managers operating outside the UK and insurance providers that need to look after their policy holders – one call to National Windscreens’ UK call centre is all it takes to sort out any windscreen issues when driving in Europe.”
