In his new position, Mecomonaco is responsible for further developing the Eco Coat Glass Protection System product line and providing customer assistance. Formerly the national sales director for Edgetech’s sister company Lauren Manufacturing, Mecomonaco brings many years of sales and executive experience to Edgetech.

Edgetech partnered with Eco Coat Glass Protection Systems of Canada in 2006 to develop this proprietary, environmentally friendly glass protection product, which is applied to the glass and frame to protect windows against freight damage and construction debris. Eco Coat is simple to apply and evenly covers every part of the window and frame and can be easily and safely removed when construction is complete. “The Eco Coat Glass Protection System, as well as our other product solutions, are in very high demand,” Johnson said. “In particular, Eco Coat’s popularity is growing tremendously for commercial applications where protecting windows from construction debris and freight damage saves money and time associated with replacing damaged units.”
