A factory of double glass windows for civil engineering, with the capacity of a daily production of 400 units of diverse measurements, will be inaugurated in November, in the municipality of Kilamba Kiaxi (Luanda).

The Factory, the first of its kind in Angola, is an investment of the Angolan company "Sovidro", having spent, for this effect, about 200.000 US Dollars.The manager of Sovidro, Carlos Sousa, revealed Monday to Angop that the advantage of applying double windows consists on the reduction, to 60 per cent, the consumption of electrical energy in residences and offices, allowing that the glass does not get dimmed.According to Carlos Sousa, the production of this new product on the Angolan market will be done, on a first phase, by order and he is certain that the project will be crowned with success since the country is currently opening to the civil construction market.After Luanda, Sovidro intends to open a similar factory in the province of Huambo, with the aim of supplying the central and south zones of the country, and the materialization of this project depends on the level of success of the first factory.At this first stage, the project in Luanda will create 13 direct job post.A factory of double glass windows for civil engineering, with the capacity of a daily production of 400 units of diverse measurements, will be inaugurated in November, in the municipality of Kilamba Kiaxi (Luanda).
