Offering the full range of blu™ window and door hardware across its contemporary products, the relationship between blu™ and PWG has developed and is now taking on a more collaborative approach.

As one of the UK’s leading names in high quality timber windows and doors, PWG with its Timber Windows and Dale brands continues to build an enviable reputation for the quality of its products.

So when the company was looking to offer its customers an enhanced range of Marine Grade 316 stainless steel hardware for its range of windows and doors, it scoured the market looking for a supplier that matched its own high standards and found that in blu™.

PWG Product Development Manager Dion Panting said growing customer demand for high performance, design-led Marine Grade 316 stainless steel hardware was the starting point for its increasingly positive and collaborative relationship with blu™.

“We have a lot of customers that live on or near the coast and in exposed locations so were increasingly getting requests for Marine Grade stainless steel hardware. Demand for stainless steel has grown significantly but the hardware we had seen in the market really wasn’t up to the quality we were looking for.

“We were introduced to blu™ and instantly everyone round the table could see and feel that the quality of the blu™ products were significantly better than we had seen anywhere else,” said Dion.

Offering the full range of blu™ window and door hardware across its contemporary products, the relationship between blu™ and PWG has developed and is now taking on a more collaborative approach. The blu™ development team are now working on a range of products specifically for PWG incorporating its full product portfolio.

“One of the things that really sets blu™ and their team apart is their interest and willingness to listen to feedback and ideas, take them, run with them and develop them to create new solutions.

“Not only have we helped feed into their own product designs such as the LP400 Letter plate but we are really excited to be working on a number of new products together which we will be offering our customers. The feedback from customers and dealers so far has been really positive. The moment they are introduced to it, they instantly see the quality of the blu™ range, and its great to think we will soon add our own PWG blu™ range to that offer,” said Dion.

Blu™ MD Loren Jenner said he was delighted that such a renowned name in the industry as PWG has embraced the blu™ approach.

“When you have such positive feedback from a renowned name in the timber windows and door sector like PWG it’s testament to the focus on quality that goes into every element of the blu™ range.

“It’s fantastic to be working with PWG and to be collaborating on a range of products for their own customers is great. We place a great emphasis on customer service in addition to product quality and to work with PWG to help shape and improve our ranges further is invaluable,” said Loren.
