The glasstec advisory board has decided that the bi-annual, international trade fair will continue as a four-day event running Tuesday to Friday when it next takes place, October 23-26, 2012.

In addition, following its premiere in 2010, solarpeq – International Trade Fair for Solar Production Equipment - will again be held parallel to glasstec in 2012.

The announcement notes that during the last glasstec/solarpeq held September 28-October 1, 2010, a renewed sense of optimism was clearly noticeable among the 1,274 exhibitors following an economically difficult period for the glass industry. It ensured correspondingly high levels of satisfaction among both the exhibiting companies and the visitors to the exhibition.
