Date: 24 May 2012

Leading Staffordshire fabricator, Cutting Edge Ltd, has recently supplied all the windows and door products for a unique project near Stoke on Trent.

The installation required a very specific tailored window solution that would satisfy the requirements of AJ Joinery and Building, a construction company with a long established reputation for building quality properties and conversions.

This particular project worth in excess of £62,000 involved the production of a particularly large triangular shaped frame, which was part of a major refurbishment programme in a private home.

The large double glazed feature window was to be the focal point of one particular part of the extension at the property and required a very tailored finish to meet the requirements of the homeowner.

Working on such a bespoke installation meant it was vital for the Cutting Edge team to manufacture all products accurately and to ensure that delivery was prompt and reliable. AJ Joinery and Building has used Cutting Edge for over 6 years on various sized building projects.

The company attributes this to a number of key factors including product quality and the reliability of the Cutting Edge support services. AJ Joinery and Building, based in Sandbach has an established reputation in and around the Staffordshire area relying primarily upon referral business.

Jon Mellor, Managing Director of AJ Joinery and Building comments, “Some of the main reasons for returning to Cutting Edge stem not only from their reliability and the competitive pricing of the products but also the flexibility of team. The support services and technical advice is extremely reliable so we know we can rely upon them for help and advice at any time.”

He continues, “Quite simply, our queries are answered and our needs are met. We have developed a strong business relationship based on this which is so important in this industry. With the prices, range and quality available from Cutting Edge I can be confident that the products are dependable, secure and will arrive when I need them to arrive. The company provides an all round excellent service.”

Shirley Peake, Managing Director at Cutting Edge comments, “During difficult trading times for everyone we work relentlessly to provide bespoke services that will ensure positive results for our customers.

Developing strong business relations is tremendously important to this company, so it is very rewarding to know that after 12 years we are still able to provide the right solutions for our longstanding customers.”
