Clean.Clear.Clever! Guardian Presents a New Coating that Combines Low Maintenance and Anti Condensation Technology New Product Will be on Display at Glasstec, Oct. 21 to 24

Date: 16 October 2014

Guardian Europe will introduce SunGuard® Solar Grey 20 at Glasstec, the world’s largest glass trade fair.

This new advanced architectural glass for commercial applications has a visible light transmission of 19 percent, and an outside light reflection of only 10 percent, delivering a dark, almost black appearance to a building’s facade.  “We have seen a trend to more extreme design styles in buildings, and we provide architects a range of glass possibilities to design the façade of their choice” says Volodymyr Shkurenko, Segment Leader at Guardian Europe. “Recently, high reflective glass has been specified in buildings like the Tour Incity in Lyon, France. As a counter trend, we are witnessing in parallel an increased request for glass that is more matte and dark in its outside appearance."

SunGuard Solar Grey 20 is an ideal choice for architects that want to create a modern dark façade and comfortable building, and is a great fit for architectural projects across Europe. This coating is produced on ExtraClear float glass which allows for a much better transparency and colour rendering index than body tinted glass.  Guardian SunGuard Solar Grey20 will be on display at Glasstec in Dusseldorf, Germany October 21 to 24, hall 10 at stand F43. SunGuard Solar Grey 20 is part of the Guardian SunGuard product family.
